OG (Trial)

Igor "Stojkov" Stojkov (born November 28, 1998) is a North Macedonian professional Dota 2 midlaner currently playing for IC x Insanity. At 27 years old, Stojkov is the most accomplished Dota 2 player his country has produced — which is a low bar on paper, but his resume is more interesting than most people realize.

Career

Stojkov started in October 2020 with Mjolnir, grinding through Eastern European tier-3 events during the pandemic era. The next four years were exactly what you'd expect—Luna Galaxy, 11Monkeyz, lvlUP, Hustlers, and Zero Tenacity cycling through CIS and European stacks, winning Pinnacle Cup Malta Vibes #3 as his biggest result, and slowly building enough of a reputation that OG took notice.

OG signed him on trial in September 2025 alongside Lelis, with N0tail as head coach. The press release compared the pickup to OG's 2018 signing of Topson—an unproven mid who became one of the game's all-time greats. That's a big comparison to put on a guy who had never played a tier-1 match. Five weeks later OG disbanded the roster entirely. He moved to lesser-known stacks, kept qualifying, and eventually landed at IC x Insanity—where the team qualified for EWC 2026.

Playstyle and Reputation

Standard control mid—the kind of player who wins games through positioning and decision-making rather than flashy mechanics. Not the most decorated name on any roster he's been on, but teams keep picking him up, which tells you the individual quality is there even when the results aren't.

Fun Facts

OG compared him to Topson when they signed him. OG disbanded five weeks later. He's now at IC x Insanity, heading to EWC 2026. Not exactly the Topson arc, but the story isn't over.

North Macedonia has two professional Dota 2 players worth knowing—Saksa, a TI-level support currently playing for Team Yandex and one of the most impactful position 4 players in the world, and Stojkov. For a country with no Dota 2 infrastructure to speak of, that's not nothing.
