ELO Rankings

Updated after every series result

How the rankings work

Every team starts at 1500. That's it. No reputation bonus, no legacy points, nothing. You earn your rating by winning — and losing it by losing.

The only thing that matters is who you beat. Beat a top-ranked team and you gain a lot. Beat a bottom-ranked team and you gain almost nothing. Lose to anyone and the opposite happens. A Bo3 and a Bo5 count the same — a series is a series. And only Tier 1 results count. Qualifiers, lower-tier events, showmatches — none of that is in here. I don't care how dominant you looked in a closed qualifier. Show me a Tier 1 result.

What this means in practice: if you were the best team six months ago but you've been losing lately, you will drop. If you're a team nobody expected anything from and you've been winning, you will climb. The rating doesn't care about your history. It only cares about what you've done recently.

The +/− number next to each rating is the movement from that 1500 base. +225 means Tundra has earned 225 points above baseline. −57 means REKONIX has lost 57 from where they started. Simple as that.
