João Gabriel "4nalog" Giannini Santos (born March 30, 2001) is a Brazilian professional Dota 2 midlaner currently playing for Team Nemesis. 4nalog is one of the most recognizable names South America has produced in recent years—an explosive, aggressive mid who helped write one of the best chapters in LATAM Dota history and carried a Brazilian flag onto the TI stage.

Early Career

4nalog started grinding competitively back in 2018 with INTZ eSports, playing at the Brasil Game Cup while barely 17 years old. INTZ disbanded not long after, and then SG e-sports dissolved too. He kept going—Vira-Lata Caramelo, a stand-in for FURIA and South American Rejects, a regional qualifier that went nowhere. Hokori called him up as a replacement in 2021, liked what they saw, and eventually signed him. That was the turning point. NoPing e-sports came after Keyd Stars, and by late 2023, he was one of the most talked-about mids in the region.

Rise with Heroic

In January 2024, 4nalog joined the newly formed Heroic alongside K1, Scofield, KJ, and Davai Lama. It turned out to be the right team at the right time. They qualified for The International 2024 and won PGL Wallachia Season 2—the first major international LAN title for a South American team. Analog was central to all of it. In the PGL Wallachia interview right after winning, he was honest about what made it work: when the team chemistry was right, they were unstoppable—and when it wasn't, it was impossible to win anything. He said it plainly.

The second year with Heroic was rougher. The team struggled to replicate their 2024 form, grinding through group stage exits and early losses across most of 2025. But they qualified for TI again and reached the playoffs, finishing 5th-6th — the best TI result in LATAM history at the time. Heroic parted ways with him in September 2025. Their farewell message said he was a big part of bringing LATAM and Brazil their biggest achievements in Dota. That's a fair summary.

After Heroic, 4nalog linked up with Team Nemesis in December 2025 alongside 23savage and Jabz—a genuinely stacked mid-roster on paper. The 23savage chapter didn't last, and the team rebuilt again in April 2026 with a new lineup featuring lelis, Jabz, Jaunuel, and rubikon155. They're currently grinding the EWC 2026 South America qualifiers.

Playstyle and Reputation

Analog is a mid-tempo. He plays to make the game uncomfortable from minute one—early rotations, aggressive rune control, and constant pressure on side lanes before the enemy cores have their first items. He doesn't sit in lane and farm until he's ready. He's ready immediately. His hero pool reflects it: Ember Spirit, Puck, Storm Spirit — heroes that punish hesitation and reward players who know exactly when to be somewhere else on the map.

In Brazil, he's one of the few Dota players with genuine mainstream visibility. He appeared on Flow Podcast in 2025, which, for Brazilian Dota, is about as mainstream as it gets.

Fun Facts

When 23savage eliminated Heroic from TI13, he all-chatted them mid-game: "You need to type XD, guys." 4nalog had to sit there and take it. That's the life.
