PGL Wallachia Season 7

My take

After everything we saw yesterday, it’s safe to say that Liquid is a better team here. BetBoom is really scary when they win the lanes and snowball, but Liquid will not let them run around and take fights when they have an advantage.

My take

Both teams are pretty even in terms of dota. Yandex is better at 5-man Dota, and Liquid is better at high-ground defense. BUT, I will go with Yandex for multiple reasons. Yandex already won against Liquid (2-0), and Liquid is really fatigued at this point. They played 4 hours against BetBoom. I am leaning towards Team Yandex to win this match.

My take

This should be one of the best series of the day. Heroic has looked extremely solid throughout the tournament. Yuma has been one of the most consistent carries, and with Whisper farming as a second core, they are very hard to shut down in longer games. Their teamfight coordination is also very clean. However, Liquid plays a completely different style. They are one of the fastest teams in the tournament, and when Nisha wins the mid lane, they immediately start controlling the map. If Liquid gets momentum early, they usually don’t give their opponents time to reach their comfortable late-game timings.

My take

Yandex is the type of team that benefits from chaos. They like messy fights and skirmishes around the map, and if BetBoom starts playing too aggressively without vision, Yandex can punish those mistakes. We saw what happened yesterday against Liquid, so we’re going with Yandex to win.

My take

When Yatoro gets a decent lane, Spirit usually controls the tempo and only commits to fights when they clearly have the advantage. Tundra can still be dangerous, but they have been very inconsistent in this tournament. A lot depends on how their carry performs in the early game. If they fall behind in lanes, the whole team tends to lose momentum very quickly. I am leaning towards Spirit to win.

My take

This is easily one of the hardest series to predict in this tournament. Both teams are playing extremely well at Dota right now. Liquids rely heavily on tempo; they immediately start taking control of the map and forcing objectives. Their early-game pressure is one of the best in the tournament. Spirit plays a much more disciplined style. They rarely force bad fights and usually wait for the perfect moment to engage. But, after that Heroic BO3, I must go with Liquid to win here.

I can’t go against Liquid. Nisha is a monster, and I think that CHIRA will not be able to shut him down in the mid lane.

My take

After yesterday, I will go with Aurora. Tundra lost so badly against Team Liquid; it is hard to recover mentally after that. On the other hand, Aurora almost won against Team Yandex. Gong with Aurora to win.

Somehow I still believe in Heroic. If you look closely, Heroic had a better execution than Vici. I can tell you right now how this is going to play out. Vici will stay in defense for 50 minutes, and Heroic will run them through the map.

BetBoom proved me wrong 2 times in a row. Indeed, they have some momentum, they are just too good in the PGL Wallachia season 7.

BetBoom is always a dangerous team (as we saw yesterday against NAVI) when their lanes go well, but their mid-game coordination has been questionable in this tournament. Heroic, on the other hand, looks very stable; if Yuma has a decent game, they always have Whisper as a second core to carry fights. Still going with BetBoom to win.
