Team Nemesis is a Filipino organization that has been through more roster changes in one year than most teams see in three. Formed from the ashes of Into The Breach in February 2025, they qualified for The International 2025 with a full Filipino roster, then completely rebuilt themselves afterward and are now running one of the more internationally diverse lineups in SEA—4nalog and lelis from Brazil, Jabz from Thailand, Jaunuel from the Philippines, and rubikon155 from Moldova.

Early Formation & First Steps

Team Nemesis was announced in February 2025 after Into The Breach disbanded its Dota 2 division. The founding roster was entirely Filipino—Raven, Erice, Jing, Asta, and Maggie—which immediately made them a story worth following in a region that rarely sends all-national rosters to international events. The early months were mixed results-wise, but the team kept qualifying, kept competing, and slowly built momentum through the SEA circuit. They won EPL World Series SEA Season 5 in their debut period and established themselves as a consistent presence in regional qualifiers.

Rise and Competitive Breakthrough

The highlight of the original roster came when the all-Filipino lineup qualified for The International 2025—the first time in years that a fully Filipino team made it to TI. They finished 16th and earned $14,500, but the result wasn't the point. The point was that five Filipino players built enough of a team to get there. The community noticed.

Then the rebuild happened. 23savage joined in December 2025 alongside Jabz, 4nalog, Jhocam, and NARMAN for DreamLeague Season 27. That lineup finished 17th and earned $14,500. Not the result the org wanted, and the roster kept shifting. Raven left in February 2026, Jhocam left shortly after, and by April 2026 the current core of 4nalog, Jabz, lelis, Jaunuel, and rubikon155 was in place.

Playstyle and Reputation

The current Nemesis roster is built around experience. 4nalog is a Brazilian mid with TI and PGL Wallachia title experience from his Heroic days. Jabz has a Valve Major title, multiple TI appearances, and is one of the most decorated SEA players of his generation. Lelis brings career experience from EG and high-level SA competition. Jaunuel is the local anchor on soft support. Rubikon 155 rounds out the lineup from Eastern Europe. It's a genuinely international group of players that have all been through difficult stretches individually—which is either a recipe for chaos or a team that understands what it means to grind. So far it's looking more like the latter, with the squad currently sitting 30th globally and grinding EWC qualifiers.

Fun Facts

Team Nemesis had 23 Savage on their roster for exactly one DreamLeague cycle. That's the kind of signing that looks great on a press release and then quietly resolves itself in the next transfer window.

The org went from an all-Filipino TI roster in 2025 to a five-nationality lineup in 2026—Philippines, Brazil, Thailand, and Moldova—in the span of one season. That is an aggressive reinvention by any standard.
