mangekyou

Mark “mangekyou” Kharlamov is a Ukrainian position-three player born in July 2005. He is also known as Amaterasu and first became famous through ranked matchmaking rather than tournament results.

His rise was incredibly fast. Shopify Rebellion signed him in September 2024 despite his limited professional experience, effectively taking a gamble on one of Europe’s highest-ranked pub players. He spent approximately five months with the organization and attended ESL One Bangkok before leaving in February 2025.

Career

Shopify Rebellion remains the only major organization mangekyou has represented permanently. He played alongside Timado, Yopaj, Hellscream, and skem as the team’s offlaner, finishing 7th–8th at ESL One Bangkok and qualifying for DreamLeague Season 25 before his departure.

He later stood in for Yellow Submarine at PGL Wallachia Season 3 and continued competing through smaller European stacks.

Playstyle

Mangekyou is a greedy, mechanically skilled offlaner who specializes in heroes capable of controlling large areas of the map. His established pool includes Broodmother, Lycan, Beastmaster, Visage, Enigma, Batrider, and Night Stalker. Basically, if the hero can take over half the map and make the enemy supports miserable, mangekyou probably plays it.

Interesting Facts

He was the first reported professional player to reach 17,000 MMR, achieving the milestone in April 2025.
