Muhammad Saieful "Fbz" Ilham (born April 27, 2001) is an Indonesian professional Dota 2 offlaner currently playing for REKONIX. FBz is one of the most experienced position 3 players Indonesia has ever produced — a guy who spent five years grinding through SEA with BOOM Esports, took two shots at Western Europe with Team Secret and Nigma Galaxy, and came home to build something new from scratch.

Early Career

Fbz started with BOOM Esports back in 2018 at 17 years old, playing alongside early Indonesian talent in smaller SEA tournaments. The first years were a learning experience more than anything — DAC 2018, Epicentre XL, and regional grind. But BOOM kept him, and he kept improving. By January 2022, BOOM Esports announced he had hit 11,000 MMR on a 10-match win streak. That same year he helped lead BOOM Esports to their best result ever — a 9th-place finish at The International 2022, the highest TI placement in Indonesian Dota history at the time.

The European Chapter

In mid-2023, Fbz got loaned to Team Secret for the Riyadh Masters and TI12 qualifiers — his first real taste of Western European competition. They didn't make TI. Team Secret released him in October 2023. Then in January 2024, Nigma Galaxy came calling, bringing him to Dubai as a replacement alongside Matthew. He qualified for Elite League Season 1 through the MENA region with Nigma and had some decent moments, but the team was in one of its messiest periods — KuroKy stepping back, constant roster changes, results that never came together. Nigma released him in September 2024. BOOM signed him back almost immediately.

The second BOOM stint was short. By mid-2025 that chapter closed too, and Fbz made the decision to go back to Indonesia and build something with familiar faces. REKONIX was formed in July 2025 from the Tech Free Gaming core, with Fbz as the experienced anchor of the roster.

Rise with REKONIX

REKONIX hit the ground running in a way nobody expected. They won four consecutive EPL World Series South-east Asia tournaments — Seasons 7, 8, 9, and 10 — and put together a 20-match win streak between October 2025 and January 2026. They've been grinding through SEA closed qualifiers for every major event since, steadily climbing the regional rankings. In April 2026, MinD_ContRoL joined the team as coach on trial — a genuine tier-1 pedigree addition that signals the org is thinking bigger than just regional events. Currently ranked 22nd globally.

Playstyle and Reputation

Fbz is an initiating offlaner. Mars, Beastmaster, Pangolier, Centaur — heroes that go in first and create chaos for the team to follow. He doesn't play passive position 3 waiting for the right moment; he creates the moment. The European stints exposed him to a higher level of structure and discipline than SEA circuits typically demand, and that experience shows in how REKONIX plays — more organised than most regional Indonesian teams, with Fbz as the in-game anchor who sets the tempo in team fights.

Puppey once said BOOM wasn't fully confident in Fbz's offlane and that he might lack some of the tricks seasoned offlaners use. That comment circulated for a while. Fbz went on to play TI, Team Secret, and Nigma Galaxy. Draw your own conclusions.

Fun Facts

Fbz has now played for BOOM Esports twice — spanning 2018 to 2023 the first time and briefly again in 2024. Five of his professional years were spent at one Indonesian org. That kind of loyalty is rare in any scene.

REKONIX now has MinD_ContRoL as their coach – a TI11 champion and one of the most decorated support players in Dota 2 history. For an Indonesian regional team formed less than a year ago, that's not a normal coaching hire.
