Jabz

Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong (born September 22, 1998) is a Thai professional Dota 2 offlaner currently playing for Team Nemesis. Jabz is one of the most decorated SEA players of his generation—over a decade of professional play, more than 1,000 matches, $1.2 million in career prize money, a Valve Major title, multiple TI appearances, and a reputation as the kind of offlaner who makes every team around him better without ever needing to be the loudest name in the room.

Early Career

Jabz started competing in 2014 with Everlast, playing in the ESL One Frankfurt qualifiers at 15 years old. The early years were the standard SEA grind—signature. Trust, Faceless, and Thai regional tournaments. He showed enough to get noticed and joined Mineski in 2017, which at the time was one of the most recognized names in SEA Dota. The role wasn't fixed back then—Jabz played mid, support, and offlane depending on what the team needed. That flexibility became one of his defining traits.

The Mineski Peak

The highlight came at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 in China. Mineski went into the tournament as an underdog against a field that included VP, EG, Team Secret, and PSG.LGD on their home soil. They made it through the upper bracket, beat LGD 3-2 in a five-game grand final, and became the first Southeast Asian team to win a Valve Dota 2 Major. Jabz on Naga Siren in game 5 was part of the setup that made it happen—clean, disciplined, and exactly what the team needed when the money was on the line. That result earned Mineski a direct invite to TI8 and $370,000 in prize money. For SEA Dota, it was a landmark moment.

Fnatic, Talon, Aurora

After Mineski, Jabz spent the longest stretch of his career at Fnatic—over 300 matches, nearly half a million dollars in earnings, and the place where he fully settled into his identity as a top-tier offlaner. Multiple TI appearances. Consistent international results. He then moved to Talon Esports in 2022, alongside 23savage and Mikoto, reaching the top 3 at Riyadh Masters 2023—one of his best individual results of the decade. When Talon disbanded in late 2023, the core group signed with Aurora Gaming, which became one of the most talked-about rosters in SEA through 2024. By 2025 that chapter closed too, and Jabz joined Team Nemesis alongside 4nalog, lelis, Jaunuel, and rubikon155—a genuinely international stack trying to build something real.

Playstyle and Reputation

Jabz is the type of offlaner coaches build systems around. He doesn't need the big plays or the highlight reel. He wins his lane, creates space, and keeps the frontline stable so his cores can do their jobs. His hero pool is deep—Naga Siren, Magnus, Mars, and classic control offlaners that amplify the rest of the draft. He has cited Iceiceice and Mushi as his main influences, which tells you exactly what school of offlane play he comes from: impact through structure, not chaos. In an interview in 2025, when asked about SEA teams always being labeled wasted slots at international events, he said plainly: "I don't like to feel that way." That's the whole career in one sentence—a player who has spent a decade proving the label wrong.

In May 2022, Jabz became only the second professional player in history to have played every single position at a Valve Major. That's carry, mid, offlane, soft support, and hard support — all at the highest level. Almost nobody in the scene can say that.
