Overview

Xtreme Gaming didn’t explode onto the scene overnight — they built themselves up the hard way. After a few years of roster shuffles and near-misses, 2025 was the year everything finally clicked.

By putting together a core built around seasoned stars like Ame, NothingToSay, fy, and xNova, Xtreme stopped looking like a rebuilding project and started looking like a team that could win it all.

Their run to the Grand Final of The International 2025 wasn’t just a deep tournament finish — it felt like a statement. Chinese Dota was back in the fight for the Aegis.

Early Days

Founded in 2021, Xtreme Gaming spent their first years trying to find the right mix. There was talent, but not always stability. Lineups changed, results fluctuated, and consistency was hard to come by.

The real shift happened when the organization stopped experimenting and started committing to experience. Instead of developing raw prospects, they brought in players who had already played on the biggest stage — and felt the pressure of a TI Grand Final.

That decision changed everything.

Rise to International Contention (2024–2026)

Once Ame became the centerpiece, the team’s identity became much clearer. Everything revolved around structure, patience, and late-game confidence.

Key moments in this rise:

Strong, confident performances in the Chinese regional circuit

Deep international LAN runs throughout 2024

The arrival of NothingToSay and fy in 2025, adding stability in mid and creativity in teamfights

A heartbreaking 2–3 loss in the Grand Final of The International 2025 — a series that could have gone either way

What makes this lineup different is experience. This isn’t a young squad learning on stage — it’s a group of players who’ve already stood under the TI lights and know exactly what it feels like to fall just short.

Fun Facts

Ame, fy, and xNova have all played in previous TI Grand Finals.

Ame is often called the “Uncrowned King” — he has reached three International Grand Finals but has yet to lift the Aegis.

The TI 2025 Grand Final was one of the closest and most emotionally intense five-game series in recent history.
