About
1Win is a Russian betting and esports organization that started from scratch in Dota 2 just two years ago, grinded through the CIS scene, and on June 1, 2026, landed the biggest acquisition in their short history—the entire Tundra Esports roster, TI champions and all.
Early Formation & First Steps
1Win entered Dota 2 in February 2024 by signing the Klim "Sani4" stack—CHIRA_JUNIOR, Cloud, swedenstrong, Munkushi, and RESPECT. They were a CIS mid-tier project. Competitive enough to qualify for things, not yet good enough to win them. Their debut at DreamLeague Season 22 ended in 15th place and $10,000 in earnings. They kept at it through 2024 and 2025, cycling through roster adjustments—Fishman came in, Kasane came in, and Squad1x took over mid—slowly building a more competitive unit. Their best result under the original roster was a 2nd place finish at the FISSURE & ESB Elite League 2024 Season 2, earning $120,000, which at the time felt like the ceiling for what this group could achieve.
Rise and Competitive Breakthrough
The original 1Win roster never quite broke into tier 1 regularly. That changed entirely on June 1, 2026:
Tundra Esports announced they were leaving Dota 2. Their full roster—33, Pure, bzm, Whitemon, Ari, and coach MoonMeander—moved to 1Win the same day. The previous CIS stack was transferred to a new org called Enjoy, and 1Win overnight became one of the strongest teams on the planet.
DreamLeague Season 28: The roster, still playing as Tundra at the time, won the championship—the first of two tier-1 titles in 2026 before the org change.
ESL One Birmingham 2026: Won the trophy in front of a home crowd for Carry Ari, a UK native. The result that reportedly convinced Tundra the roster had done everything it could under that banner.
Playstyle and Reputation
The roster 1Win acquired is built around structure and trust. MoonMeander has been coaching this group for well over a year and runs one of the most disciplined systems in Western Europe. 33 in the offlane is the quiet anchor—not flashy, just consistently excellent. Bzm is one of the most reliable mid players in the region. Pure brings the individual firepower at carry, Whitemon runs the vision game better than most, and Ari at position 4 has steadily grown into a player you build around rather than just filling a slot with. This isn't a group of strangers thrown together—they know exactly how to play with each other, and 1Win now gets to put their name on that.
Fun Facts
The original 1Win CIS roster made it to ESL One Birmingham 2024 qualifiers by beating Virtus.pro—and then couldn't attend the tournament because of visa issues. That's the kind of luck that defined the early days of this org in Dota 2.
Whitemon missed The International 2025 entirely due to visa complications—a recurring theme for this roster when it comes to travel documents.
1Win ran their own tournament series, the 1win Essence, which became a legitimate platform for tier-2 CIS teams. Building infrastructure while the main roster was still developing was a smart move, and it gave the org credibility before the big acquisition happened.
