Biography
Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong (born November 6, 1999) is a Laotian professional Dota 2 carry currently playing for GLYPH. At 26 years old, Jackky is the best Dota 2 player Laos has ever produced—and almost certainly the only one most people outside SEA have heard of. A TI participant, the second player in the world to reach 12,000 MMR, and a carry who has spent almost a decade proving that talent from Laos can compete at the top level.
Early Career
Jackky grew up in Laos idolizing Miracle and decided at some point that reaching the same level was the goal. He started competing in 2017 with Happy Team at regional SEA events, grinding through Thai and Laotian circuits before getting noticed. In 2019 he had to make a real choice—Alpha Red offered him a spot on the roster, which meant moving to Thailand in his second year of university studying architecture. His father was against it. His mother was fine with it. He went. Architecture's loss, Dota's gain.
He spent time with Motivate. Trust Gaming from 2020, winning multiple tier-2 and tier-3 tournaments and earning enough of a reputation that T1 came calling in late 2020. The T1 stint was short—he was replaced by 23savage before the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021—but the fact that T1 wanted him at all said something about his individual level.
BOOM Esports and the TI
In February 2022, BOOM Esports signed JaCkky as their new carry. That year he became the second player in the world to hit 12,000 MMR, which put him in a very short list of players at that level at the time. BOOM won the Gamers Galaxy: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 — JaCkky's first significant international title. Then in August 2022, at the PGL Arlington Major, BOOM qualified for The International 2022. Jackky became the first Laotian player ever to qualify for and compete at The International. They finished 9th, earned $378,616, and made Dota 2 history for their entire country in the process.
From BOOM, he moved to Bleed Esports in late 2022, grinding through 2023 and 2024 DPC cycles and the Bali Major with mixed results before going back to BOOM in late 2024 for another run.
GLYPH
GLYPH was formed in March 2026, and JaCkky was brought in as the carry alongside Emo, Zeal, Jhocam, and NARMAN—an international SEA mix that immediately started winning. Thirteen consecutive wins from the debut. Two EPL World Series SEA titles in quick succession. The team got their first real international exposure at BLAST Slam VII, where they stunned Team Falcons in the group stage on Windranger before eventually finishing 11th-12th. For a brand new team nobody had heard of two months prior, that result made people take notice. Jackky was the carry behind it.
Playstyle and Reputation
Jackky plays Carry with a very direct philosophy—farm fast, scale hard, and take over before the opponent can get there. His MMR trajectory tells you the individual skill ceiling is genuine. He's not the most famous carry in SEA, but he's been consistently one of the best for years across multiple orgs. The Windranger game against Falcons at BLAST Slam VII was the kind of performance that reminds people he's been around for a reason—not flashy in a way that gets highlights, just dominant in a way that wins games.
Fun Facts
Jackky is the number 1 ranked esports player in Laos by career earnings. By a significant margin. He is essentially the entire history of Laotian Dota 2 at the international level, contained in one person.
He was studying architecture before choosing Dota 2 professionally. His father opposed the move. His father has presumably since watched him compete at The International and become a national icon.
