PGL Wallachia Season 9

PGL Wallachia Season 9 returns to Bucharest from September 17–27, bringing together sixteen of the world's top Dota 2 teams to compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool. Organized by PGL and played offline at the PGL Studio (Bucharest), the tournament continues to be one of the most important non-Valve events on the calendar.

Group Stage: Sixteen teams compete in a modified Swiss-system format, with all matches played as Bo3 series. Teams face opponents with similar records throughout the stage, and only the top eight teams advance to the playoffs. The remaining eight teams are eliminated.

Playoffs: The eight qualified teams advance to a double-elimination bracket. All matches are played as Bo3 series, except for the Grand Final, which is a Bo5. Teams dropping from the upper bracket receive a second chance through the lower bracket
