No[o]ne

Volodymyr “No[o]ne” Minenko was born on September 4, 1997, in Ukraine. He began his professional career in 2014 and has remained one of the most mechanically respected midlaners in Dota 2 for more than a decade.

His nickname is technically pronounced like “noon,” although almost everyone simply calls him “No One.” In the CIS community, he is also known as Vovan. Whatever name you use, we are talking about one of the greatest Eastern European mids ever.

Early Career and Vega Squadron

No[o]ne discovered DotA through his brother and moved into semi-professional competition before joining Vega Squadron. His international breakthrough came at ESL One New York 2015, where Vega defeated Team Secret in the final and introduced No[o]ne to the wider Dota audience.

He was young, fearless, and mechanically disgusting in the best possible way. This was the period when people realized that the CIS region had produced another midlaner capable of winning lanes against anybody.

Virtus.pro

In August 2016, No[o]ne joined Virtus.pro and became part of one of the most iconic lineups in Dota 2 history. Alongside RAMZES666, Solo, 9pasha, and Lil—later replaced by RodjER—he helped VP win tournaments including The Bucharest Major, ESL One Katowice 2018, and The Kuala Lumpur Major. The team also finished 5th–6th at TI 2017 and TI 2018.

That Virtus.pro roster never won TI, which will always hurt, but its legacy is much larger than one missing trophy. They played aggressive, entertaining Dota and helped define an entire era. No[o]ne was the mechanical engine in the middle of it.

Post-VP Career

After leaving Virtus.pro, No[o]ne moved through AS Monaco Gambit, Natus Vincere, Team SMG, Entity, and Cloud9. These lineups produced occasional strong results, but none recreated the sustained dominance of the VP years.

For a while, it looked as though No[o]ne might become another legendary player whose best years were permanently behind him. His skill was never questioned, but finding the correct team became the problem.

PARIVISION Resurgence

In October 2024, No[o]ne helped form the roster that became PARIVISION. The original lineup featured Crystallis, DM, 9Class, and Dukalis, with Satanic arriving in January 2025. PARIVISION subsequently won ESL One Bangkok 2024, ESL One Raleigh 2025, and DreamLeague Season 26 before finishing third at TI 2025.

The arrival of Puppey as coach and the later addition of Noticed gave the roster another level. PARIVISION won DreamLeague Season 29 and the Esports World Cup 2026, then reached the TI 2026 Grand Final. No[o]ne described the roster as having “geniuses in every position” and called Puppey the best coach in Dota.

This is one of the greatest late-career resurgences we have seen. No[o]ne did not return as a passenger mentoring four younger players. He returned as a world-class mid capable of carrying games himself.

The International 2026

TI 2026 was No[o]ne’s best International result. PARIVISION went undefeated through the group stage, defeated Spirit twice before the Grand Final, and beat Team Yandex 2-1 to secure the organization’s first TI final appearance.liquipedia+1

His Earth Spirit became one of the defining heroes of the tournament. In Game 2 of the Grand Final, Spirit allowed him to play it again, and PARIVISION won a 64-minute war. Earth Spirit was subsequently banned in the remaining games. That tells you everything you need to know.

Spirit eventually won the fifth map, leaving No[o]ne without the Aegis he had chased since 2014. Afterward, he admitted that either side could have won and that Spirit had simply played the final moment better.

Playstyle

No[o]ne remains an elite laner, but the PARIVISION version of him is much more flexible than the player from his early VP years. He can dominate with traditional mids such as Storm Spirit, Invoker, Puck, or Ember Spirit, but he can also play unusual utility cores that create the perfect game for Satanic.

His biggest contribution may now be the balance between experience and confidence. Satanic provides the limitless youthful ceiling; No[o]ne provides the voice of someone who has already played almost every possible version of professional Dota.

Fun Facts

No[o]ne skipped his prom to play the final day of the TI 2015 European qualifier. He reached 10,000 MMR in 2020, 16,000 in July 2025, and 17,000 in May 2026.

He still does not have an Aegis, but that should not erase his career. No[o]ne is one of the greatest midlaners in Dota history.
