BetBoom Team

BetBoom Team is a Russian professional Dota 2 organization founded on April 18, 2022. Since entering the scene, it has developed into a regular participant in Tier 1 finals and The International.

Formation and First Roster

Contrary to the previous biography, BetBoom Team’s original roster was the former Winstrike lineup of Daxak, Larl, Noticed, Forcemajor, and SoNNeikO, coached by Mag. The team won the Eastern European DPC Tour 2 playoffs and qualified for The International 2022.

After TI 2022, the organization released the roster and rebuilt around Pure, gpk, Nightfall, Save-, and TORONTOTOKYO, with boolk as coach. This second lineup became the foundation of BetBoom’s Tier 1 period.

Competitive Rise

BetBoom finished second at DreamLeague Season 20 and placed 5th–6th at Riyadh Masters 2023 and The International 2023. During 2024, the team reached the finals of DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham and later won BLAST Slam I.

MieRo replaced Pure in the offlane at the beginning of 2024, while Kataomi joined later that year. Pure subsequently returned as carry before leaving permanently in 2025.

Championships and Current Roster

BetBoom won FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 and PGL Wallachia Season 5 in 2025. The team also finished fourth at The International 2025 and second at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2.

Kiritych joined as carry in September 2025, completing the current lineup with gpk, MieRo, Save-, and Kataomi. In 2026, BetBoom won PGL Wallachia Season 8, placed third at PGL Wallachia Season 7 and BLAST Slam VII, and finished second at the Esports World Cup.

The International 2026

BetBoom competed as BoomBoys during TI 2026. The team reached the playoffs and defeated Iron Wing and Nigma Galaxy in the lower bracket.

Their run ended with a 0-2 loss to Team Spirit in the lower-bracket semifinal, resulting in fourth place. This matched BetBoom’s TI 2025 placement and became the organization’s second consecutive Top 4 finish at The International.

Playstyle and Reputation

BetBoom generally plays around gpk’s midlane impact and Kiritych’s carry item timings. MieRo provides initiation or additional scaling from the offlane, while Save- and Kataomi support the team’s movement and vision structure.

The organization’s tournament history is defined by repeated deep playoff runs. From 2024 through 2026, BetBoom reached finals across DreamLeague, ESL One, PGL Wallachia, BLAST, FISSURE, and the Esports World Cup.

Fun Facts

BetBoom Team has used a separate event identity, BoomBoys, at TI 2026.

The organization’s original roster was acquired from Winstrike.

gpk and Save- have remained with BetBoom since the December 2022 rebuild.

BetBoom finished fourth at both TI 2025 and TI 2026.
