BLAST is back with Slam VII — the seventh edition of their $1,000,000 Tier 1 series, running from May 26 to June 7, 2026. And this time, they're bringing it to Copenhagen, with the group stage played online before the whole thing moves to BLAST Studios for the live playoff stage. Twelve teams (our usual suspects), a million dollars on the line, and a brand-new format that gives more teams a real shot at making the main event—no more getting bounced in the group stage without a fight. With this tournament landing right before EWC and The International. Teams that perform here send a massive signal heading into the most important part of the 2026 season. I'll be covering every match, breaking down every series before it happens, and updating my predictions in real time—wins and losses, all on display.

Group Stage (May 26 – May 29) — All 12 teams play a full Bo1 round-robin. Yes, Bo1—every map matters, one bad game can ruin your week, and there is zero room for error. The top 2 teams advance straight to the upper bracket semifinals at the LAN stage. 3rd and 4th place also go directly to the playoffs but into the upper bracket quarterfinals. 5th and 6th place drop to the Last Chance Qualifier at Round 2, while 7th through 10th have to fight from Round 1. The bottom two teams? They're packing their bags. Eliminated.

Last Chance Qualifier (May 30) — Single day, all matches are Bo3, no margin for error. The top 2 teams earn their ticket to the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals at the LAN. Everyone else goes home. This is the most brutal day of the tournament—one series stands between you and Copenhagen.

Playoffs (June 4 – June 7) — The LAN stage at BLAST Studios in Copenhagen. Double-elimination bracket, all matches are Bo3 except the Grand Final, which is Bo5. The six teams who made it through the group stage and LCQ meet here, along with the two teams who skipped all of that by finishing in the top 2 of the group stage. Classic format, massive stakes, and a crowd to play in front of. This is what everyone is playing for.
