Raven

Marc Polo "Raven" Luis Fausto (born September 22, 1998) is a Filipino professional Dota 2 player currently playing for OG in the offlane. Raven is one of the most decorated carry players the Philippines has ever produced—a decade of top-level SEA Dota, close to $1 million in career earnings, multiple TI appearances, and a reputation as one of the most mechanically reliable carries in the region. Now he's reinventing himself at position 3 at one of the most storied orgs in the game.

Early Career

Raven started with Click 'N Search in 2014, grinding through the SEA scene before landing at TNC Predator in mid-2015. That's where the story really begins. TNC in 2016 was the Cinderella team of The International—they pulled off one of the biggest upsets in TI history, beating the then-defending champion Evil Geniuses in the upper bracket at TI6. Raven was the carry. He was 17 years old. Three of the players from that run—Raven, eyyou, and DeMoN—were immediately picked up by Fnatic after TI6. Raven's stint at Fnatic didn't stick, and he returned to TNC in November 2016, just in time for the team to win the World Electronic Sports Games—representing the Philippines and taking home $800,000. That win catapulted TNC to national hero status in the Filipino esports community.

The Carry Years

The years that followed at TNC were consistently productive. Raven hit 33 kills in a single game on Spectre against Thunderbirds at The Kiev Major 2017—still his career record. He helped TNC finish 4th at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018. After leaving TNC in 2018, he went through Lotac, then Geek Fam, where he helped win the ONE Esports SEA League in 2020. Then came Fnatic again—this time a more sustained stint from 2020 to 2022, where the team reached a 9th-place finish at The International 2021. That TI10 run was played in front of an audience that peaked at 2.7 million concurrent viewers. Raven was the carry for the region's representative on one of the biggest stages the game has ever had.

After Fnatic he moved to Blacklist International, then went through a quieter period before joining Team Nemesis in 2025—where the role switch happened. With Karma taking the carry slot, Raven moved to position 3 for the first time in his professional career.

The Role Switch

Moving from carry to offlane at 27, after a decade as one of the best position 1 players in SEA, is not a small thing. The reason it made sense is exactly what makes Raven valuable — he understands farm distribution, team fight positioning, and game tempo at a level most offlaners never develop because they never had to. A carry player who spent ten years reading late-game scenarios brings a completely different perspective to the position 3 role. Team Nemesis rolled through the early results. When that chapter ended, OG came calling. On June 5, 2026, OG announced Raven as their new offlaner ahead of the TI qualifiers and Esports World Cup. For a player who spent his whole career in SEA, the OG jersey is a new chapter in every sense.

Playstyle and Reputation

As a carry, Raven was defined by patience, efficiency, and late-game scaling. Juggernaut, Spectre, Terrorblade, Phantom Assassin — heroes that farm cleanly and take over when the game goes long. He was never the flashiest carry in the region, but he was the most reliable. That same quality translates naturally to offlane: he doesn't force plays, he reads the game and finds his moments. Raven was part of the TNC team that beat OG at TI6 — one of the most talked-about upsets in The International history. He was 17. The three players who immediately got poached by Fnatic after that result were a sign of how much the performance was noticed globally.
