Neta “33” Shapira was born on April 17, 1997, in Israel. He is the offlaner and captain of 1w Team. A two-time winner of The International, 33 is widely recognized for his micromanagement, unconventional strategies, farming patterns, and influence on the development of the offlane role.

Early Career

33 began competing professionally in 2014 and progressed through teams including Kaipi, Planet Dog, HellRaisers, OpTic Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Alliance. His periods with OpTic and NiP established him as a Tier 1 offlaner with a distinctive preference for micro-intensive heroes and map-control strategies.

In 2020, he helped create mudgolems, which was signed by Tundra Esports in January 2021. The roster gradually developed into one of the strongest teams in Europe.

The International Victories

33 won The International 2022 with Tundra Esports. His Beastmaster, Visage, Doom, and aura-based strategies were central to Tundra’s map control, and the team defeated Team Secret 3-0 in the Grand Final.

He joined Team Liquid after the 2023 season and became its captain. Liquid won The International 2024 with a 3-0 victory over Gaimin Gladiators, making 33 the first player to win TI with two different organizations.

Return to Tundra and 1w Team

After winning TI 2024, 33 returned to Tundra to build a new roster. The project went through several carry and support changes before settling on Pure, bzm, Ari, and Whitemon. This version became highly successful across 2025 and early 2026, winning multiple BLAST Slam titles, DreamLeague Season 28, and ESL One Birmingham 2026.

The complete lineup transferred to 1w Team in June 2026, with 33 continuing as captain and MoonMeander joining as coach.

The International 2026

At TI 2026, Iron Wing recorded notable wins over Nigma Galaxy, Team Falcons, Team Yandex, and GamerLegion. However, consecutive playoff losses to Team Spirit and BoomBoys ended the team’s run in 7th–8th place.

The result prevented 33 from challenging for a third Aegis, but his broader standing remains unchanged. He is one of the most decorated and strategically influential offlaners in Dota 2 history.

Playstyle and Reputation

33 specializes in micro-heavy and high-economy offlaners such as Beastmaster, Visage, Lycan, Doom, Broodmother, and Enigma. He frequently creates advantages through summons, creep manipulation, early item timing, and pressure across multiple lanes.

Although he often accumulates considerable farm, he commonly invests it into auras, initiation, and team-fight items rather than functioning as a conventional third carry. His strategic influence also extends into drafting and the development of unusual builds that later become part of the professional metagame.
