DM

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin was born on January 8, 2000, in Russia. He is a professional offlaner currently playing for Team Yandex.

DM is known for disciplined laning, a deep offlane hero pool, and a methodical approach to resource distribution and team fights. His career includes appearances with Virtus.pro, OG, Entity, Cloud9, PARIVISION, and Team Yandex.

Early Career

DM began competing professionally in 2017. His early teams included Underdogs, Vega Squadron, Winstrike Team, Aachen City Esports, HellRaisers, and Chaos Esports Club.

During this period, he developed a reputation for macro-oriented offlane heroes and strong farming efficiency. His performances eventually earned him a place with VP.Prodigy in April 2020.

VP.Prodigy and Virtus.pro

VP.Prodigy became one of the most successful development rosters in Eastern Europe. Its results led Virtus.pro to promote the lineup to its main team in November 2020.

DM helped Virtus.pro win EPIC League Season 2 and multiple Eastern European DPC tours. The team also finished 5th–6th at The International 2021.

This period established DM as a regular Tier 1 offlaner and gave him extensive experience in structured, resource-efficient Dota.

OG, Coaching, and Entity

DM joined OG in December 2022 and represented the organization throughout most of the 2023 season.

After leaving OG’s active roster, he briefly worked as a coach for 9Pandas. The coaching period lasted approximately one month before he returned to professional play with Entity in November 2023.

Entity later became Cloud9, and the roster finished 5th–6th at The International 2024.

PARIVISION

DM joined PARIVISION in October 2024. The roster won ESL One Bangkok 2024, ESL One Raleigh 2025, and DreamLeague Season 26. PARIVISION also finished second at PGL Wallachia Season 4 and third at The International 2025.

He moved to the inactive roster in January 2026 but later stood in for Team Yandex at PGL Wallachia Season 7. Yandex won the tournament, defeating Team Liquid 3-2 in the Grand Final.

DM officially joined Team Yandex in May 2026. The team then won BLAST Slam VII and finished third at the Esports World Cup 2026.

The International 2026

DM’s first International with Team Yandex ended in third place. His offlane play provided the roster with initiation, frontline durability, and an additional source of scaling in longer matches.

Yandex’s run included victories over LGD Gaming, Team Liquid, and Nigma Galaxy. The team was eliminated by Team Spirit in the lower-bracket final after previously losing to TEAM VISION.

Playstyle and Reputation

DM is a flexible and generally high-economy offlaner. His most played heroes include Centaur Warrunner, Beastmaster, Enigma, Dark Seer, Tidehunter, Timbersaw, Doom, Brewmaster, and Underlord.

He is effective on traditional initiators but can also occupy dangerous farming areas and convert additional resources into auras, control, or sustained team-fight impact.

DM reached 13,000 MMR in April 2024, 14,000 in September 2024, 15,000 in November 2024, and 16,000 in January 2025.

One time, a match was postponed because he didn’t want to leave a PUB game and lose MMR.

The CIS community sometimes calls him “Dima Slark.” The nickname originated from his tendency to accumulate carry-level farm while playing offlane and from his history of playing carry heroes in ranked matches.
