Post TI2026 shuffle (Rumors and Confirmed Transfers)
Welcome back, everybody. As The International 2026 is almost over, Dota 2 players are changing the teams, or the teams are disbanding. As usual, we will have our post-TI shuffle this year. I will post the rumors and unconfirmed changes on this page; all the confirmed/signed transfers will go directly to player-transfers page.
16.01.2026 Team Spirit, Team Liquid and OG
We are in the middle of the tournament (PGL Wallachia Season 9), so we already kind of know all the roster moves. However, I have a big bomb announcement.
Team Spirit
It looks like Larl is taking a long break, and in his place will play Malr1ne. Also, Batyuk will stand in for Team Spirit until Collapse is back.
OG
The offlaner that everyone is talking about is: SSS, he will be the last addition to the team.
Team Liquid
Wisper joins as the last member of Team Liquid. This squad looks scary.
UPDATE: It looks like MidOne will stand-in for Nisha until he comes back from vacation.
16.01.2026 Aurora Gaming, Parker, Skiter and New Kuro Team

Nightfall is out of the team, and Mikoto will skip PGL Wallachia Season 9. Skiter is the new carry of Aurora Gaming.
Ok, so it looks that Parker has a new squad, and he said that they are invited to PGL Wallachia Season 9 (and I can see them under the invited list). Team Cobra

Based on what we see in the EPL Masters II, Noob is listed as their new midlaner. It confirms that MidOne and Yamich are out of the team.

I told you on September 5 that Timado will be the new carry of GamerLegion, and now it confirms that.

05.09.2026 Team Liquid, OG, BetBoom Team, PlayTime Rumors
Team Liquid
Malr1ne is heavily linked to Team Liquid (as the mid replacement with Nisha on break). ATF is expected to head to Team Yandex instead of staying linked with Malr1ne. I know that Malr1ne said that they will play together, but I have solid info that they are splitting.

Gpk is taking a break and Save- wants to try the mid lane.
Kataomi is out of the team.
That would leave BetBoom needing at least one more piece (and possibly more if boolk/Gpk departures stick). kiyotaka remains one of the names still attached to them in other rumors.
PlayTime
Looks like Suma1L is not retiring after all and is joining Playtime.

They’re currently running with two position 5 players, so the plan is for Elmisho to shift into the soft support role. Pretty stacked if this holds.
OG
Topson is now being floated to OG rather than (or in addition to) the previous Liquid talks. OG are still looking at a SEA/EU hybrid rebuild, so a Topson mid-slot is one of the louder possibilities right now.
GamerLegion
Ghost is out of GamerLegion. There are some rumours that Timado will take his spot as carry.

02.09.2026 China shuffle
We have big news regarding Xtreme Gaming and LGD.Gaming
Xtreme Gaming
The stack will look like this: Ame (carry), Xm (mid), TBD (we don't know the offlaner), XinQ (soft support), and bbk (hard support). We don't know much about bbk, but it looks like young blood from China.
LGD Gaming
Here we have shiro (carry), TBD (we don't know the midlaner, but it could be Paparazi), Xiang Yu (offlane), planet (soft support), and y' (hard support)
01.09.2026 Team Liquid, Team Falcons and BetBoom Team
Today we have some rumors from Solo.
Team Spirit
It looks like Collapse will take a break from competitive Dota or even retire. It means that they will take Batyuk in again?
Team Liquid
Nisha takes a break (which we already knew before even the TI). Boxi retires from competitive Dota, and Ace is removed from the roster. Topson is most likely to join Team Liquid for this season.
Aurora Gaming
Nightfall and Mira will leave the roster, and the team is building a full Asian roster for the upcoming season. More than that, Lorenof and Nightfall will play on the same team, and they are looking for an organization.
BetBoom Team
It looks like Gpk and boolk are out of the BetBoom team. kiyotaka is rumored to play for BetBoom in the next season.
Team Falcons
Unfortunately, there is a full disband for Team Falcons, and they are not building another Dota 2 squad. ATF will most likely move to Team Yandex. Malr1ne is in discussion with Team Liquid and Team Yandex (to join with ATF). DM is out of team Yandex.

28.08.2026 Another day, another rumor: Nigma Galaxy, Team Falcons, MOUZ
ATF already left Team Falcons. (Does it mean that he isn't joining with Malr1ne?)

Unfortunately, I have bad news…. It looks like the organization is disbanding after all. Kuroky and Lorenof will join Aurora Gaming, and the rest of the squad are basically free agents.
MOUZ picked up a tier 2 stack, and it is trying to win the BLAST SLAM VIII EU Qualifiers.

LGD Gaming disbanded their roster; however, it was not a kick or something. They just had a contract until 24 August.
OG will make changes, but they will remain in SEA. It means that they will shuffle between OG players and Execration players. They might also skip BLAST SLAM VIII and PGL Wallachia Season 9 (or at least just 343 will skip them).
Topson is in discussion with Team Team Liquid to join as a midlaner after Nisha takes a break.
Wisper is in discussion with Team Liquid to take Ace's place.
25.08.2026 Up next: Aurora Gaming

ws could potentially return to Southeast Asia or China. It means that rumors about new LGD super stack are possible.
kaori might also leave the team; KJ is a possible replacement. But what will happen to the lads from LGD Gaming? Are they moving back to SA?
But what about Nightfall and Mikoto? We already know for a fact that Mira is retiring.
24.08.2026 Another day, another rumor.
Team Falcons and Team Yandex might shuffle players between them. Based on the inside information, Team Falcons will look like this:

Virtus.pro officially disbanded their Dota 2 roster.

Suma1L is retiring from competitive dota.
SabeRLight was removed from the VP roster.
Cr1t- is also considering retiring. It means that Team Falcons will rebuild.
19.08.2026 China. Post-TI shuffle rumors
Today we will focus mostly on the CHN Dota 2 scene. It looks like we will have big reshuffles in the region.

LGD Gaming is assembling a new roster specifically in China. It means that SA Players will play under a new tag from South America.
Xtreme Gaming is preparing a major change—the team is set to be built around a single star player. (Maybe Ame is not retiring?)
Most of the Vici Gaming roster is rumored to be moving to Xtreme Gaming.
Team Resilience remains unchanged for now. But they might get Paparazi.
Sneyking might move to China and assemble a new roster. Maybe he wants to resurrect competitive Dota in the region. Also, for those who don't know, he has a Chinese citizenship.

Wits might join an EU team as a carry player. It's interesting to see what will happen with the PlayTime squad if this is true.
Another almost-confirmed rumor is that Nisha will take a break from competitive Dota, and also Ace might retire. It means that Team Liquid will need at least 2 more players.
Suma1L will retire after The International 2026; it was his last run.

More rumors are surrounding Aurora Gaming. It looks like Mira will be out of the team and maybe even Nightfall. It basically means that they want to rebuild around SEA players + kaori.
GamerLegion might release their roster. It's unbelievable how dry the NA scene is right now. There is not ONE big name in the scene.

Xtreme Gaming will disband (Ame, fy, xNova and NothingToSay are out).
Vici Gaming already disbanded.
Team Falcons will rebuild around ATF and Malr1ne. (Skiter, Cr1t- and Sneyking will retire).
Some changes in Team Spirit, it looks like Collapse will leave the team.
There are rumors that OG will disband the Pilipino roster and rebuild from EU and EEU.
LGD Gaming wants to keep Topson on the roster after TI.
