Kataomi

Vladislav “Kataomi” Semenov was born on August 1, 1999, in Russia. Formerly known as Suzuya, he is BetBoom Team’s position-five support.

Kataomi does not receive the same attention as Gpk or Save-, but his role is essential. He gives BetBoom a calm, low-resource support who can protect the greed of its cores without making the entire map collapse.

Early Career and Entity

Kataomi began competing with Team Singularity in 2020 before joining Creepwave in November 2021. Creepwave evolved into Entity, where he spent almost three years and developed into one of Europe’s most versatile support players.

With Entity, he competed at The International 2022 and The International 2024, briefly representing Cloud9 after the organization acquired the roster. His Entity period established him as an unusually aggressive support, particularly on Spirit Breaker and other heroes capable of constantly invading the map.

BetBoom Team

Kataomi joined BetBoom Team in September 2024. The move immediately produced results: second place at DreamLeague Season 24, victory at BLAST Slam I, and third place at ESL One Bangkok.

The roster later won FISSURE Universe: Episode 4, PGL Wallachia Seasons 5 and 8, finished fourth at TI 2025, and reached the EWC 2026 Grand Final.

The International 2026

Kataomi helped BoomBoys recover from a 2-3 group stage, beat Aurora in the elimination round, and eliminate Iron Wing and Nigma before the team lost to Spirit. The fourth-place result matched his finish from TI 2025.

Playstyle and Reputation

Kataomi’s hero pool includes Bane, Winter Wyvern, Tusk, Treant Protector, Lich, Spirit Breaker, Jakiro, and Disruptor. He is especially strong on heroes that can protect a core, control a long fight, or start chaos from an unexpected angle.

He is the chill support in a team full of strong personalities. Save- creates aggressive movement, while Kataomi usually provides the defensive structure behind it. That balance is one of the reasons BetBoom can play such greedy Dota without instantly feeding the map away.

Fun Facts

Kataomi was previously known as Suzuya. He reached 14,000 MMR in January 2025, 15,000 in May, and 16,000 in September.

He is also listed as the all-time leader in professional Spirit Breaker victories, with 35 wins in 47 matches at the time the statistic was recorded.
