PREMIER SERIES

Overview

NarodCast is launching its new PREMIER SERIES on April 1st with a solid $100,000 prize pool. Running from April 1 to April 11 on patch 7.40c, this online European/CIS event features 16 teams in a compact but meaningful Tier 2 format. The prize pool of $100,000 USD will be distributed among the participants, with the biggest share obviously going to the champion.This looks like a nice mid-tier online event designed to give solid teams (both invited powerhouses and qualifier surprises) a chance to compete for meaningful money while the bigger LANs are on break. Expect some interesting group dynamics and early playoff upsets — especially with the current 7.40c meta still settling in.I'll be tracking the matches, dropping my pre-match takes, and updating accuracy as the tournament progresses.

Format

Group Stage (April 1 – 7): Two single round-robin groups of five teams each. All matches are Bo3. Only the top team from each group advances directly to the playoffs. The rest are eliminated (check the tiebreaker rules if things get tight). Playoffs (April 8 – 11): Double-elimination bracket. Six invited teams get direct seeds into the playoffs. All matches are Bo3 except the Grand Final, which is Bo5.
