Arman Orazbayev
Biography
Arman “Malady” Orazbayev was born on October 23, 2000, in Kazakhstan. He is a professional position-five support currently playing for Team Yandex.
Malady is known for stable laning, disciplined vision control, and experience across Eastern European and international rosters. His career includes periods with HellRaisers, Natus Vincere, Aurora Gaming, L1GA Team, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Yandex.
Early Career
Malady was introduced to DotA through his two older brothers. He began playing against bots at approximately seven years old and moved to Dota 2 in 2013.
He originally attempted to compete as a carry but later switched to hard support while playing for V-Gaming. The position change became the foundation of his professional career.
Malady joined HellRaisers after being encouraged by watson. The pair developed strong lane chemistry and helped the team win Dota 2 Champions League Season 7.
Natus Vincere
Malady joined Natus Vincere in December 2022 and remained with the organization through most of 2024.
Although NAVI experienced inconsistent results, the roster won Malta Vibes events and competed at DreamLeague Season 23. Malady also finished fourth at Clavision: Snow Ruyi with the organization.
Aurora, L1GA Team, and Gaimin Gladiators
After leaving NAVI, Malady had short periods with Aurora Gaming and L1GA Team.
He joined Gaimin Gladiators as a substitute in February 2025 before becoming a permanent roster member in April. The move reunited him with watson.
Gaimin Gladiators reached the Grand Finals of FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 and PGL Wallachia Season 5 during his tenure.
Team Yandex
Malady and watson joined Team Yandex in October 2025. Malady became the roster’s position-five support, working alongside Saksa in the support pairing.
The team won DreamLeague Season 27, PGL Wallachia Season 7, and BLAST Slam VII. Yandex also recorded podium finishes at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, BLAST Slam V, ESL One Birmingham 2026, and the Esports World Cup 2026.
The International 2026
Malady helped Team Yandex finish third at TI 2026, the best International result of his career.
His role centered on lane support, vision, defensive positioning, and team-fight utility. Yandex survived the Elimination Round and defeated Team Liquid and Nigma Galaxy before losing to TEAM VISION and Team Spirit.
Playstyle and Reputation
Malady is a low-resource hard support who prioritizes team structure over individual statistics.
His most played heroes include Jakiro, Treant Protector, Warlock, Disruptor, Undying, Chen, Phoenix, and Shadow Demon. These heroes allow him to support lanes, control vision, protect cores, and provide reliable team-fight spells.
His established chemistry with watson is particularly important to Team Yandex’s laning and early farming structure.
Fun Facts
Malady’s nickname comes from the character Malady in Divinity: Original Sin II.
He reached 10,000 MMR in June 2021, 11,000 in February 2022, and 12,000 in June 2022.
