MieRo

Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin was born on July 28, 2003, in Russia. He is BetBoom Team’s position-three player and has become one of the most reliable offlaners in Eastern European Dota.

Early Career

MieRo began competing in 2020 before playing for Cascade, CIS Rejects, HellRaisers, and 9Pandas. His breakthrough came during the 2022–2023 period, when he established himself as a stable Tier 1 offlaner capable of playing both sacrificial initiators and greedy scaling heroes.

With 9Pandas, he reached The International 2023 and finished 5th–6th at Riyadh Masters 2023. Those results eventually earned him an invitation to BetBoom Team.

BetBoom Team

MieRo joined BetBoom in January 2024, replacing Pure in the offlane after Pure moved to Tundra Esports. He initially needed to adjust his hero pool and preparation habits, later explaining that BetBoom discussed Dota in far greater detail than his previous teams.

He subsequently became part of BetBoom’s most successful period: BLAST Slam I, FISSURE Universe: Episode 4, PGL Wallachia Seasons 5 and 8, plus multiple Tier 1 Grand Finals.

The International 2026

Before TI 2026, MieRo described the tournament as the most important of his four TI appearances. BoomBoys improved after a difficult group stage, beat Aurora, Iron Wing, and Nigma, and finished fourth.

MieRo was the roster’s stabilizer. When Gpk and Kiritych consumed the safe farm, he took dangerous areas, stood in front, and created the first point of contact. His series against Iron Wing demonstrated that he could also become a major damage source when the draft required it.

Playstyle and Reputation

MieRo’s strongest heroes include Beastmaster, Doom, Mars, Enigma, Centaur Warrunner, Lycan, and Timbersaw. He can create space, initiate fights, control objectives, or scale into an additional core depending on BetBoom’s draft.

BetBoom has historically been associated with emotional games and occasional tilt. MieRo usually looks like the exception. The CIS community sometimes calls him “Terminator,” and honestly, the name fits: the same expression, the same movement, and apparently zero emotional damage.

Fun Facts

He once celebrated an important TI 2025 comeback against PARIVISION by striking his keyboard on the desk. So yes, even the Terminator has emotions—apparently you just need to beat PARIVISION to activate them.
