Biography
Guo "shiro" Xuanang (born March 23, 2001) is a Chinese professional Dota 2 carry currently playing for Vici Gaming. At 25 years old, Shiro is one of the most naturally talented carry players China has produced in recent years—a player who had the highest average kills per game in the entire CN Upper Division during his breakout season and has spent the last four years bouncing between EHOME, LGD Gaming, Tidebound, and now VG while looking for the team that can finally give his individual quality the platform it deserves.
Early Career
Shiro started competing in 2020 with Phoenix Gaming, grinding through Chinese domestic circuits before joining EHOME.Immortal later that year. He stepped up to the full EHOME roster in late 2021, and that's where people first started paying attention. During Tour 1 of the 2021/22 DPC CN Upper Division, Shiro posted the highest average kills per game of any player in the league—10.06 kills per game. For reference, that number belongs to a carry who was 20 years old at the time, competing in one of the most competitive domestic Dota 2 environments in the world. His career high in a single match also came during this period — 24 kills on Morphling against PSG.LGD in Tour 1 of the 2021 DPC CN Upper Division. PSG.LGD was arguably the best team in the world at that time. He got 24 kills on them.
LGD and the Searching Years
In December 2022, Shiro joined PSG.LGD—at the time still one of the most prestigious orgs in Chinese Dota. He spent nearly two years there across the LGD era as the PSG partnership ended, competing in DPC cycles and international events, including the Riyadh Masters 2023, where the team reached the top 9. The results were decent but never spectacular. The talent was clearly there — it just never quite coalesced into the kind of run that defines a player's reputation.
In January 2025 he joined Tidebound alongside y, Faith_bian, planet, and Xm—a team built from former LGD and Xtreme Gaming veterans that immediately became one of the better Chinese stacks in the international circuit. Tidebound finished 3rd at FISSURE Universe Episode 4, made the playoffs at TI 2025, and won DreamLeague Division 2 Season 2. When Tidebound disbanded in December 2025, Shiro, Y, and Planet moved together to Vici Gaming. On May 3, 2026, VG won the ESL Challenger China Season 3 x ACL 2026—their first title in six years and Shiro's first meaningful team championship at the top level.
Playstyle and Reputation
Shiro plays carry the way you'd expect from someone who averaged over 10 kills per game in a top-tier league—aggressively, with an emphasis on finding and winning fights rather than passive farming. He's not the style of Carry who disappears for 30 minutes and shows up with six items. He's present throughout the game, looks to punish mistakes early, and has the mechanical ceiling to make those punishments count. Morphling, Medusa, Anti-Mage — heroes with a mix of fighting capability and scaling. In the Vici Gaming setup alongside Faith_bian in the offlane and y` directing the draft, he finally has experienced veterans around him who can build a system that suits his aggressive instincts.
Fun Facts
10.06 average kills per game during Tour 1 of the 2021/22 DPC CN Upper Division. That number still stands as a record for that season. It is an outrageous carry statistic at any level, let alone against top Chinese competition.
He was at PSG.LGD during the period when the org reportedly couldn't pay players and was spending $20 million a year on operations. He was there when FY publicly said he hadn't been paid since joining. That's not a great environment for a young carry trying to establish himself, which puts some of the mixed team results in context.
Shiro, Y`, and Planet moved from Tidebound to Vici Gaming together when the org disbanded—a trio that had clearly developed trust and chemistry across 2025. The VG ESL Challenger title in May 2026 was the first time all three had won a meaningful championship together.
