How the tiers work
Tiers show what high-MMR players actually build: how often the heroes that buy items in this price range pick this one. We deliberately don’t rank by win rate — a finished item’s win rate mostly reflects how the game was already going (a 6,000-gold item is usually finished by the team that is winning, Hand of Midas gets bought when things go badly), so it would reward luck rather than strength. Components that usually get upgraded further (Yasha, Sange, Buckler and the like) are left out. For role lists, each hero counts in proportion to how often it is played in the role. Data: STRATZ first purchases in Legend–Immortal games, refreshed every two days.
