L1GA Team was launched in January 2024 through a partnership with LIGA Stavok, entering Dota 2 with an unusually recognisable first roster: RAMZES666, kiyotaka, kasane, Immersion and RodjER. The lineup was assembled shortly before the BetBoom Dacha Dubai qualifier and immediately finished second in the Eastern European closed qualifier, losing the available main-event place to Virtus.pro.

Early Days

L1GA won CCT Series 2, defeating Night Pulse 3–2 and earning $30,000, then qualified for both PGL Wallachia Season 2 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. The international results were modest—12th–14th at Wallachia and 9th–10th in Belgrade—but those appearances established L1GA as a credible Eastern European qualifier team rather than a stable Tier-1 contender. In 2025, further roster changes produced a third place at FISSURE Special, but the organisation again missed The International, finishing only fifth–sixth in the region’s TI 2025 qualifier.

The International roster

The eventual TI roster began taking shape in March 2026. L1GA fielded Ilya “ssnovv1” Kondrashov, Miras “Mirage`” Mutanov, Ivan “Corrupted” German, Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet and Egor “RESPECT” Procurat, with Aliaksei “TheChosenOne” Karanevich coaching. At that stage, ssnovv1 was described as a stand-in, but the five became the competitive core that reached TI.

HULIGANI rebranding

The HULIGANI name was introduced on June 18, before the European closed qualifier. The practical context was TI’s branding policy: Valve’s participation terms prohibit team names and digital assets that refer to sponsors whose activities cannot legally be displayed in jurisdictions where TI is broadcast. Multiple betting-associated organisations, therefore, appeared under neutral names at TI 2026, including BetBoom Team as BoomBoys and PARIVISION as Team Vision. Contemporary tournament coverage explicitly identified HULIGANI as L1GA Team’s equivalent alteration.

The International 2026

At TI 2026, HULIGANI lost four consecutive series—to Team Yandex, Vici Gaming, Xtreme Gaming and OG—and exited in 16th place, taking individual maps from Vici and OG but winning no series. Even so, reaching TI represented a major breakthrough for a club previously associated with constant rebuilding and near-misses.
